Someone asked if they could replace just a the clutch on a Mercedes Supercharger. The answer was simply, yes, if they are sure they know what they are doing.

If the bearings in the clutch are bad then you can try that before replacing the whole supercharger. The risk is that if the whole supercharger is bad, you may not be able to find one without a clutch, and thus you wasted a lot of time and money. So be very sure.

The other question was; Can you put a bigger one on to get more power? Yes, but you’ll probably blow the supercharger pretty quick. If it could take that tolerance it would have come from the factory that way. Unless, you are racing this and don’t mind replacing frequently, you better stick to stock.
